Hello Everyone
We are still safe. What do you say? How do you feel? What do you do? Is there room or time for emotion?
We keep busy with the everyday, Kent is considered an essential employee, he has worked everyday since the stay-at-hone order has been enforced, going back and forth with travel paper in the window of his vehicle.
This morning we awoke to the door of his vehicle ajar, when he opened it someone had been through the center console and glovebox, there was nothing of importance in the vehicle, so if they took anything, it is what it is, but the thing that bothered me the most is, what if that person has Covid-19, they touched everything in the vehicle. I sprayed the vehicle with disinfectant but after we put things back where they were pulled from. Pray for us that we continue to stay healthy.
I was asked to make some masks in the early stage of the Illinois declared stay at home for some essential workers friends, (grocery store employees), then for a nurse friend, she works in a home for the aging, thank God they haven't had any coronavirus cases there.
I was fortunate enough to find a mask pattern before the mandate began and worked up some with fabric I forgot about, (I gave away all of my fabric bolts and yardage's last summer), who knew I would need to make masks for people the following spring? Anyway, I've made a good number of masks, the pattern from Craft Passion, she has updated the mask since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
To her and all that she has done to help so many help themselves. Thank you!
I prefer to tie mine with ribbon and make a pretty bow, but many choose elastic over the ears.

the one above has elastic, but I couldn't use them in public for any period of time.

In the meantime, we planned a trip to the 49th state back in February 2020, paid for our flights but held off on the hotels. I worked up a poncho for the flight since it could be chilly on the 8 hour flight. Lets hope we can travel in the fall.

I was surprised the planned pooling worked, it's yarn I picked up in the clearance at Walmart for 50 cents. I guess you can make anything work as long as you keep at it.
The spring as been one for the record books. I am concerned for my garden, yes, I have planted my seed tomatoes, green beans, carrots, and onions. Lets hope the bags covering them hold up.

To all... we wish you only the very best, in everything.
